Tendisai Cromwell - CEO & Co-founder

Tendisai Cromwell is the CEO and co-founder of Bioimmersive, a studio dedicated to using immersive technologies to advance environmental causes, social issues, and connections with the natural world. She led the UX design for an environmentally focused virtual reality prototype and has served as a UX researcher for an innovative digital platform at NorQuest College. Guided by biomimicry practitioners, she applied nature-inspired design strategies to extended reality technologies.

Tendisai comes to the world of immersive tech and UX after a long and varied career in the arts. She served as an executive director of a film festival and most recently immersed herself in the creative lives of artists as the host of a community podcast. She, herself, is a visual artist and lifelong writer of fiction and essays. Tendisai has and continues to engage in artistic and creative collaborations, often involving nature.
